Specifically, in late August 2025, repairs were carried out urgently. Workers replaced the damaged asphalt layer at several locations on one lane for cars (from the Vung Tau intersection to the Gate 11 interchange cluster). After that, the unit proceeded to re-asphalt, ensuring a flat and safe road surface for vehicles to travel.
Along with that, from July to late August 2025, Project Management Board 8 (Vietnam Road Administration, Ministry of Construction) carried out repairs on multiple damaged and deteriorated sections of National Highway 51 through Dong Nai province. Notably, the entire stretch of road from Song Buong Bridge to the Vung Tau intersection was fully resurfaced with asphalt.
Throughout the construction process, units worked closely with relevant authorities to manage traffic and guide vehicles safely and efficiently.
Since early July 2025, when the Department of Construction took over the management of this road from the Vietnam Road Administration, the road surface of National Highway 51 has deteriorated, especially in sections passing through Long Hung ward, Phuoc Tan ward, and Long Thanh commune. In addition, recent prolonged heavy rains have caused the national highway surface to deteriorate further.
To thoroughly resolve this situation and ensure long-term traffic safety, the Department of Construction has planned a comprehensive repair of the road and submitted it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
