Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Thi Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, praised the achievements of the provincial education sector during the 2024–2025 school year, affirming that these accomplishments will serve as a solid foundation for the continued development of education in the province in the new phase.
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang emphasized: The 2025-2026 school year has special significance, as it is the year to continue widely implementing the 2018 General Education Program in the final grades, and also the first year to implement the policy of free tuition for general education students nationwide, a historic policy demonstrating the superiority of the Party and the State.
To achieve higher goals in the 2025–2026 academic year, the provincial People's Committee called on the education sector to strengthen career guidance and ensure effective, meaningful student streaming after lower secondary education. In particular, all available resources must be mobilized to implement the policy of investing in education for border areas, considered a strategic task tied to socio-economic development and the safeguarding of national sovereignty. Priority must be given to political, ideological, ethical, lifestyle, and life skills education for students, alongside efforts to build a positive school culture and a truly transparent and healthy pedagogical environment.
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang emphasized the need to focus on building and developing a teaching and educational management workforce that is both sufficient in number and strong in quality to meet the demands of innovation. She also called for further promotion of comprehensive and substantive digital transformation in education. It is essential to maximize the effectiveness of sector databases, management software, and digital learning resources while equipping both teachers and students with digital skills, turning technology into a powerful tool for innovating teaching and learning methods and improving education quality.
