Dialogue on social insurance and health insurance policies

On the morning of August 14, Dong Nai Social Insurance agency organized a dialogue conference with employers to propagate, disseminate, and effectively implement policies on social insurance and health insurance.

Attending the dialogue conference were representatives of the Social Insurance agency, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of over 100 businesses and individual business households in the province.

 Before the dialogue, Dong Nai Social Security disseminated legal regulations on the responsibility to participate in and pay social insurance, health insurance, and compulsory insurance for employers and employees; legal regulations on illegal acts and prohibited acts; and handling of violations when units are late in paying or evade paying social insurance and health insurance for employees participating in social insurance and health insurance.

The questions raised by units and businesses mainly focused on the following contents: Common mistakes employees make in sick leave benefits; in what cases will policies for arduous and hazardous work be increased; employees' questions about re-issuing social insurance books on the VssID application, currently the application has got updates on new communes and wards, yet during its operation, it still reports an error, stating that communes and wards have not been updated yet. They asked when the system will be updated so that businesses can inform employees. Another question was related to an employee receiving unemployment insurance, by January 2026, they will be eligible for pension (insurance payment period is 21 years and 7 months (born May 5, 1969), so will their unemployment insurance benefits be terminated in January 2026?...

At the end of the dialogue conference, most participating units received specific and thorough answers from the provincial Social Insurance and relevant agencies, thereby helping units and businesses avoid legal risks in labor relations.
