A retired official donates 300 million VND from Decree 178-based support to care for the elderly

As one of the retired officials receiving support from the Government's Decree 178/2024/ND-CP, Mac Thi Thanh Binh, former Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the former Chon Thanh town, has spent 300 million VND out of a total of 400 million VND that she received from the support to establish the Proactive Health Care Club dedicated to the elderly in Chon Thanh ward.

The Club prioritizes free health care for the elderly aged 80 and above and women in difficult circumstances in the locality.

In the "proactive, sustainable, compassionate" spirit, the club focuses on supporting proactive health care solutions for the elderly, especially those with symptoms related to cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and mobility issues. This is also how the club accompanies the local health sector in caring for the health of the elderly.

It is known that Mac Thi Thanh Binh is the only individual proposed by the Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union as a typical advanced woman in the nationwide patriotic emulation movement of the union for the 2021-2025 period.
