Dong Nai establishes new Land Development Center

(DN) – Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has approved Plan No.03/DA-UBND on the establishment of a new provincial Land Development Center.

The new center will be formed through the merger of the former Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provincial land development centers, along with district-level units from both localities. Internal departments will also be reorganized to streamline operations.

Dong Nai Land Development Center’s leader briefed businesses at Bien Hoa 1 IP on land clearance procedures.

The center’s core functions include land fund management, compensation and resettlement implementation, and organizing land use rights auctions. It will also be responsible for other land-related services and tasks as assigned by the provincial authorities.

The new center will operate with one director, three deputy directors, six specialized departments, and 18 branches, employing over 600 staff.

According to the provincial authorities, the restructuring aims to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance public service delivery. It is part of broader efforts to reform administrative procedures and streamline the political-administrative system.
