Over 22 billion VND spent for studying promotion

(ĐN) - On May 9, the Provincial Association for Studying Promotion held the meeting to summarize activities in the first months of 2025.

As of May 2025, the entire province has 163 study promotion chapters at communes, wards, and towns and 13 grassroots chapters under the Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, over 1.1 thousand branches, over 1.6 thousand boards for promoting learning, and over 13.8 thousand groups for promoting learning. Compared to the end of 2024, there is an increase of 12 branches and 93 groups for promoting learning, and a decrease of 49 committees for promoting learning due to local organizational restructuring.

In the first months of 2025, the province mobilized over 34.4 billion VND for the fund for studying promotion, of which over 22 billion VND was spent on awarding scholarships for promoting learning and talent...

At the conference, the association proposed many tasks to ensure that the work of promoting learning and talent and building a learning society is maintained smoothly when district-level administrative units are merged and new commune-level administrative units are established.

Accordingly, the chapters of districts and cities should review the current status of promoting learning and talent and building a learning society in their localities to prepare for handover to the new wards and communes.

Besides, it is necessary to continue organizing professional training for grassroots chapter officials; organize the awarding of scholarships to disadvantaged students and students with disabilities; organize propaganda, commendation, and rewarding of exemplary adult learners in the "Learning Never Ends" movement launched by the Vietnam Studying Promotion Association.
