Dong Nai mobilizes over 71 billion VND to support "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" program

(ĐN) - From March 2025 until now, through the launch of the movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in Dong Nai province, 166 organizations and individuals have registered to support over 71 billion VND to implement the program.

Accordingly, Dong Nai has 265 cases included in the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province. Districts and cities have proactively connected resources to build and repair 48 houses. As for the remaining 217 cases, the Provincial Mobilization Committee ò Fund for the Poor has completed the transfer of 12.66 billion VND to localities to support people in building solid houses. Specifically, poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances are supported with 80 million VND for building houses and 30 million VND for repairing houses.

According to the plan, the construction of houses for poor households, near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances will be completed in May and June. The province is currently continuing to review and statistically identify poor households, near-poor households, and difficult families in need of support to build solid houses according to regulations to provide timely assistance.
