20 businesses participate in 4th job fair in 2025

(ĐN) - On May 26, the 4th Job Fair in 2025, held at the Dong Nai Employment Service Center, attracted 20 businesses from within and outside the province to recruit, with a demand for over 3,000 workers.

Of these, unskilled laborers accounted for over 85%, while the rest held college or university degrees.

The job fair had nearly 400 workers participating in job searching and interviews; 267 applications were received, and nearly 200 workers are expected to be hired. Popular recruiting industries include: garment, footwear, electronics, life insurance, financial services, telecommunications, etc.

According to the assessment of the Dong Nai Employment Service Center, although the demand for general laborers from businesses accounted for a high percentage, the fair only met nearly 7.5% of this demand. Many job vacancies remained due to workers not matching the required age, skills, and desired work location.

This is the current paradox of labor supply and demand, where businesses have a high demand for workers, but workers remain unemployed. The Center will strengthen connection methods to help unemployed workers return to the labor market soon.
