(ĐN)- On December 31, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai held its second meeting of the 10th term (2024-2029). Chairman Cao Van Quang highlighted key achievements in 2024, including mobilizing VND 921 billion for social welfare, poverty relief, new rural development, and disaster aid. Oversight and public consultation activities improved in both quantity and quality, while efforts to strengthen national solidarity achieved positive results.
The meeting also identified four challenges: inconsistent public engagement, limited effectiveness in communication, insufficient expansion of successful models in grassroots governance, and delays in addressing citizen complaints.
For 2025, the committee set seven key goals, focusing on strengthening public consensus, enhancing oversight, encouraging civic participation in governance, and promoting patriotic movements.
During the event, 129 individuals received the For National Solidarity award, while 95 individuals and groups were recognized for their contributions. Two new members were elected, bringing the total to 97 committee members.
