Striving to bring light to over 1,600 blind people in difficult circumstances 

In 2025, the Red Cross associations at all levels in the province will continue to connect with philanthropists and organizations to maintain the implementation of the program "Bringing light to the poor blind."

Through this program, the Red Cross associations will strive to coordinate eye disease screenings for over 2,000 poor people, among which more than 1,600 cases will receive free eye surgeries. 

It is known that from January 2024 to February 2025, the Red Cross associations at all levels in the province have supported nearly 1,700 cases of free eye surgeries at hospitals in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, with a total funding of nearly 9.5 billion VND.
