Over VND122 bil raised for typhoon victims

(ĐN)- According to  Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee, as of February 11, the province’s Social Relief Fund had received over VND122 billion VND in donations from organizations and individuals to support those affected by Storm No. 3 in Northern Vietnam.

With the approval of the provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee allocated VND5 billion to the Central Relief Fund and directly distributed VND52 billion to 23 severely affected provinces, including Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Hung Yen, Lai Chau, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, and Ninh Binh.

On February 11, the remaining funds were transferred to the Central Relief Fund for coordination and distribution to localities affected by natural disasters, epidemics, and other emergencies, in accordance with regulations.
