Over VND122 bil raised for typhoon victims

(ĐN)- According to  Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee, as of February 11, the province’s Social Relief Fund had received over VND122 billion VND in donations from organizations and individuals to support those affected by Storm No. 3 in Northern Vietnam.

With the approval of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Đồng Nai Province allocated 5 billion VND to the Central Relief Fund and directly distributed 52 billion VND to 23 severely affected provinces, including Lào Cai, Yên Bái, Cao Bằng, Bắc Kạn, Tuyên Quang, Thái Nguyên, Phú Thọ, Lạng Sơn, Bắc Giang, Sơn La, Hòa Bình, Hải Dương, Thái Bình, Điện Biên, Hà Giang, Hưng Yên, Lai Châu, Bắc Ninh, Thanh Hóa, Nam Định, Hà Nam, Vĩnh Phúc, and Ninh Bình.

On February 11, the remaining funds were transferred to the Central Relief Fund for coordination and distribution to localities affected by natural disasters, epidemics, and other emergencies, in accordance with regulations.
