Dong Nai General Hospital presents gifts, wheelchairs, and medical fees to poor patients

(ĐN)- On March 25, Dong Nai General Hospital held a ceremony to commemorate Vietnam's Social Work Day (March 25) with the theme Spreading - Connecting - Loving.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Tan Hoc and Mrs. Le Thi Phuong Tram (Deputy Director of Dong Nai General Hospital) supported the hospital's Fund for Supporting Difficult Patients with an amount of 100 million VND. 

The hospital presented 20 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND in cash, to patients in difficult circumstances who are being treated at the hospital. Although the gifts are not large, they hope to encourage the patients' spirits and help alleviate their difficulties. 

In addition, Dong Nai General Hospital handed over 2 wheelchairs to 2 patients; provided 5 blood pressure monitors for patients in the Outpatient Department; and supported 10 million VND in medical fees for one patient in difficult circumstances. 

Mr. Le Dinh Hanh, Deputy Head in charge of the Social Work Division at Dong Nai General Hospital, said that recently, the hospital has conducted many meaningful and practical programs and activities to help many poor patients in difficult circumstances.
