After more than five years of implementation, Định Quán mobilized over VND 31 trillion for NTM development, with only 14.6% coming from state funds and the majority contributed by local residents. The district now has all 13 communes meeting NTM standards, 9 achieving Advanced NTM status, 4 classified as Model NTM communes, and 5 exemplary residential areas. Agricultural production value has reached over VND 196.3 million per hectare, with the average income per capita surpassing VND 92 million in 2024.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thị Hoàng emphasized that Định Quán’s achievements not only contribute to local socio-economic development but also serve as a highlight for the province’s NTM movement. Moving forward, the district will continue improving the quality of NTM criteria, particularly at the commune level.
On this occasion, the provincial and district authorities awarded commendations to individuals and groups with outstanding contributions to the Advanced NTM program.
