Bringing Tet gifts to workers

(ĐN)- Many meaningful activities are being carried out in Dong Nai to bring a warm and loving spring to workers, the poor, and those in difficult circumstances on the occasion of upcoming Tet.

Dong Nai, with 60% of its workforce from other provinces, has launched various Tet support programs under the theme Tet Sum Vay - Xuan On Dang since October 2024. Trade unions and businesses are providing gifts, organizing gatherings, and ensuring fair wages and bonuses for employees.

The Dong Nai Labor Federation has allocated VND 450 billion to support over 700,000 workers. Key programs include Tet Sum Vay and Tet Fair 2025, offering discounts on essential goods. The Reunion Train 2025 program provides 1,000 free train tickets for workers returning home. Additionally, support is given to workers in boarding houses who cannot return home for Tet.

Companies like TKG Taekwang Vina, Chang Shin Vietnam, and Phong Thai Group have announced Tet bonuses ranging from 1 to 2 months' salary, with additional gifts and cultural activities. Workers are excited about the support, as it helps them celebrate Tet joyfully and with financial security.
