Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Higher Education Department under the Ministry of Education and Training, said the university, along with many others of Vietnam, has achieved prestigious accreditation in quality assurance and quality assessment of higher education, and accreditation of facilities and training programmes.

The LHU has so far had 10 training programmes meeting the AUN-QA standards, and this affirms the university's efforts in enhancing the quality of education, providing students with a learning environment and training quality that meet international standards.

The AUN-QA standards, Version 3.0 consist of 15 standards and 60 criteria, focusing on three main areas of quality assurance in strategy, system, and function.

In late July this year, the AUN awarded accreditation certificates based on the AUN-QA standards to four programmes at the university, namely Japanese studies, finance and banking, construction engineering technology, and control and automation engineering technology.

Established in 1997, the LHU is the first private university in Dong Nai. With excellence in quality human resources development, applied scientific research and technology transfer, the university offers undergraduate, graduate and vocational training in and across different disciplines./.
