Addressing at the event, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam General Labour Federation Thai Thu Xuong praised achievements made by labor unions at all levels in Dong Nai province, congratulating 50 typical workers who have had lots of initiatives that benefit their businesses.
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam General Labour Federation suggested that the labor unions at all levels should focus in providing legal knowledge to workers, increase their role and responsibility in protecting the legitimate rights and benefits of the laborers, make ceaselessly efforts to take care of workers’ cultural and spiritual lives and create better conditions for them to study and increase their professional skills.
On this occasion, the organizers presented 45 gifts, worth 2 million VND each, to children orphaned by Covid-19 pandemic, handed over five charity houses, totaling 300 million and funded by Gimo Company, and 10 gifts to workers affected by labour accidents and workers with fatal diseases.
