(ĐN) -On March 31, Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the provincial Buddhist Shangha‘s Executive Board jointly held a ceremony to breeding fish, shrimp, and other aquatic species into the Dong Nai River to help restore fisheries resources.
At the event, 320,000 breeding shrimps, breeding fish of different species were released into the river.
The program is jointly launched by Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the provincial Buddhist Shangha‘s Executive Board to help reproduce and stabilize aquaculture resources, protect environment and ecosystem as well as raise the public awareness on protecting environmental resources. The program has so attracted the participation of many organizations, businesses who are sponsors, and people.
After one year, more than 4.3 millions of breeding aquatic animals have been released into Tri An lake and Dong Nai river.
