Activities mark 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(ĐN) - Chairwoman Le Thi Thai of Dong Nai provincial Women's Union on July 22-23 visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy families in Bien Hoa city, Nhon Trach and Vinh Cuu districts to mark the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

 

(ĐN) - Chairwoman Le Thi Thai of Dong Nai provincial Women’s Union on July 22-23 visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy families in Bien Hoa city, Nhon Trach and Vinh Cuu districts to mark the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

During the visits, Chairwoman Le Thi Thai extended her best health wishes to mothers and showed respect for the invaluable sacrifices and contributions the heroic mothers made, ahead of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

At the same day, Thong Nhat General Hospital’s delegation offered free medical check-ups and medicines to some 200 policy beneficiaries, war invalids and elderly people in Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district.

The hospital’s doctors also visited and provided health care to heroic mothers Le Thi Phi, Dang Thi Huan and Tran Thi Ut  in Long Khanh city.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Rubber Company gave 100 gifts worth VND1 million each to AO/dioxin victims across the province.
