This year, the month will focus on inspecting workplace safety and hygiene at local enterprises; visiting traffic accident victims; enhancing training on workplace safety and hygiene to prevent accidents and diseases, etc.
There were 1,340 work-related accidents in the province last year, killing 28 people and injuring 1,287 others, causing an estimated loss of more than VND16 billion.
