(ĐN)- On February 24, Dong Nai Red Cross Association in cooperation with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre held a voluntary blood donation day at Dong Nai College Of Decorative Arts to respond to Xuan Hong (Red Spring) festival.
Nearly 500 units of blood have been collected at the event.

The “Red Spring” festival, held annually after the Lunar New Year holiday, aims to help ensure sufficient blood supply for medical use which, in the past, often faced a serious shortage after the country’s biggest and longest holiday.
The annual event is also a festival of kindness as it shows the benevolent spirit of volunteers and blood donors in voluntary blood donation activities.
Since the beginning of February, 17 blood donation campaigns have been launched across the province and collected 3,500 blood units.
