Of the money, over VND1,967 biillion has been spent for the above-mentioned people.
Particularly, the province has provided over VND467 billion for nearly 138,000 workers who ceased working due to the pandemic at 1,522 firms, spent over VND213 billion to help 172,000 laborers of 898 firms who had their contracts temporary suspended on unpaid leave, spent over VND1,100 billion to support 733,695 workers without labor contracts, or freelancers, who lost their jobs due to COVID-19 pandemic, along with helping employers borrow money to pay their laborers.
