Accordingly, the donators included Dong Nai Social Policy Bank who presented VND320 million; the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, VND100 million, and labor federations of Bac Can, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, VND20 million each.
So far, the provincial Labor Federation has presented some VND15.7 billion to support 113,695 disadvantaged workers in quarantined and lockdown sites as per the program launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In addition, local labor unions have also given 4,500 gifts to poor workers, helping themovercome COVID-19-related difficulties.
