(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded an additional 963 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to 7am on September 13, raising the provincial tally to 35,901, according to the provincial Centre for Disease Control.
The infections included one case detected in the community, 694 in quarantined sites and 268 in sealed off areas of Bien Hoa city, Nhon Trach and Trang Bom districts.
The number of deaths related to the pandemic is kept at 320 while that of recoveries are recorded at more than 15,000.
Over 96,100 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on September 12, raising the total in Dong Nai to more than 1.6 million, or 71.2 percent of its allocated vaccines. Accordingly, 72,200 people got full two shots.
The province has so far provided relief aid for 153,820 freelancers with a total amount of over VND230.7 billion.
