(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded 620 COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours to 7am on September 30, bringing the province's total tally to 48,602, according to the Department of Health.
The new infections include 5 in the community, 451 in quarantine sites and 164 in locked-down areas.
Bien Hoa city is still the hardest hit with 441 new cases, followed by Trang Bom district (84) and Vinh Cuu (48).
The province reported 2 virus-related deaths on September 30, bringing the total number of fatalities to 447.
638 patients were declared to have recovered on the same day, taking to the total number of recoveries to 26,278.
Dong Nai has so far administered over 1,900,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines; more than 177,500 people have fully received two shots.
