(ĐN)- On July 24, a blood donation drive kicked off at Ngo Quyen high school in Bien Hoa city by Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre and the provincial Red Cross Association, with the aim of collecting at least 360 units of blood.
The event attracted the participation of volunteers who are state employees, young people and local laborers in Bien Hoa city and donated.
Accordingly, the organizer collected 419 blood units to help needy patients.
The complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic has significantly decreased the amount of blood over the past time.
