(ĐN)- Dong Nai Youth Union in coordination with its agency in Dinh Quan district have recently held a tree-planting festival with the aim to plant 1,000 trees along streets of La Nga commune, Dinh Quan district.
The tree planting festival initiated by President Ho Chi Minh in the spring of 1960 has been a tradition in Vietnam, encouraging afforestation and forest protection and greatly contributing to national development.
Following the late leader’s teachings, Dong Nai's young people along with people across the province have joined hands in planting trees to uphold this tradition and cope with global climate change
