(ĐN) - Dong Nai provincial AO/dioxin Victims Association and its agencies raised more than VND3.5 billion in the first quarter of this year, fulfilling 70 percent of the yearly plan.

(ĐN) - Dong Nai provincial AO/dioxin Victims Association and its agencies raised more than VND3.5 billion in the first quarter of this year, fulfilling 70 percent of the yearly plan.
In Jan-March, the association spent over VND5.8 billion to care for the victims. Particularly, the money was used to provide financial assistance to 94 AO/dioxin-affected households and present 8,000 gifts to victims with difficult circumstances.
In March only, 124 AO/dioxin victims received monthly allowance and food.
In the coming time, the association will continue efforts to help AO/dioxin victims, build and upgrade houses, provide financial assistance and free healthcare to the victims.
