At the end of contest, the organizers awarded 12 first prizes, 19 second prizes, 26 third prizes and 34 consolation prizes to outstanding projects. Accordingly, students from Dong Nai province excellently won two second prizes for their two items participating in the event.
The competition organized annually by the Ministry of Education and Training is to encourage students to study science and technology and to apply the acquired knowledge into reality. It is also a good chance for contestants to get together and exchange their research results. The top three prize winners will be admitted to universities nationwide without taking entrance exams.
