(ĐN) – Dong Nai solved jobs for over 30,000 laborers in the first half of 2020, fulfilling 38 percent of the year’s target.
In this period, nearly 26,000 laid-off workers have been approved to receive unemployment benefits. The province also provided consultancy and introduced jobs to more than 33,000 laborers, offered vocational training for 750 people.
As many as 196 enterprises have been affected by COVID-19. Accordingly, three enterprises were dissolved, 61 others temporarily suspended operations, the remaining businesses cut production and business scale to wait through difficult times.
Some 10,200 labourers working in 79 enterprises lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 crisis.
