(ĐN)- On May 21, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee in cooperation with its agencies in Thong Nhat district presented 279 gifts to poor residents affected by the Covid-19.
The gifts, totaling VND100 million, were funded by Mr Le Van Hong in Trung Dung ward, Bien Hoa city.
At the same day, the provincial Red Cross Association visited and presented 150 gifts worth VND500,000 each to people suffering from drought and saltwater intrusion in Mo Cay Bac district, Ben Tre province.
Earlier, on May 19, the Association also gave 250 gifts to households with difficult circumstances in Tien Thuan commune, Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province.
