At the launch ceremony, the organizers presented 200 gifts worth VND450,000 each to policy families, revolutionary contributors, AO/dioxin victims, lottery sellers and poor laborers in Bien Hoa city.
On this occasion, the association also handed VND1 million each to 20 state employees from disadvantaged backgrounds and suffering fatal diseases, 20 poor studious students, and 30 patients who are being treated at Thong Nhat General Hospital.
During this month, the association will provide free medical check-ups and medicines, present gifts, award scholarships with a total cost of over VND1.5 billion.
