(ĐN) - The first “rice ATM” was set up in Long Khanh city of Dong Nai to help those in difficulties due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Donors in the city set up the first site at Hung Vuong Street, Xuan Hoa ward on April 16 to give 1.5 kg of free rice for each person.

The ‘Rice ATM’ aims to share difficulties to underprivileged people in the locality, helping them to overcome the pandemic.
The initiative has received warm support from many people.

| The rice can be obtained by simply pressing a button. Each person is provided with 1.5 kg of rice at one time.

"I am happy. I have rice and my family will be fed", said Ms Nguyen Hoang Thanh in Xuan Trung ward of Long Khanh city.
