Addressing the event, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee said that the event shows the special attention to the Overseas Vietnamese community and their valuable contributions to the homeland.
Briefing the participants on the province’s socio-economic development in 2019, Hiep recognized the contributions of the Vietnamese community abroad to the growth of the province and hoped that the expats would continue promoting the patriotism tradition and joining hands with the locality to fulfill all socio-economic tasks for 2019.
On the occasion, the province honored individuals showing excellent contributions to the province’s growth in 2019.
A photo exhibition was also launched to showcase hundreds of photos featuring the development of the province.
