Over 100,000 breeding fish released into Tri An Lake

(ĐN)- The Buddhism Monastery, located in Long Thanh district's Loc An commune, in cooperation with Culture and History Ecological Center of War Zone D yesterday held ceremony to release fish into Tri An Lake in Vinh Cuu district to protect the environment.

 

(ĐN)- The Buddhism Monastery, located in Long Thanh district’s Loc An commune, in cooperation with Culture and History Ecological Center of War Zone D yesterday held ceremony to release fish into Tri An Lake in Vinh Cuu district to protect the environment.

At the event, which was held in response to the environmental protection campaign launched by Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee, the organizers released more than 100,000 breeding fish into Tri An Lake, which include carps, amurs and chubs, etc, to reproduce and stabilize aquaculture resources, protect environment and ecosystem as well as raise the public awareness on protecting environmental resources.

After the event, representatives of the Buddhism Monastery and over 400 buddhists along with local people visited and burn incense at War Zone D Historic Site.
