(ĐN) - On November 1, Thong Nhat district’s Study Encouragement Association held a ceremony to hand over 10 houses for poor households in the locality.
These houses are built at a total cost of more than VND1.3 billion. Of the total, the association raised over VND520 million, the remaining was contributed by the families.
At the ceremony, the association presented television and a set of table and chairs to each family.
On this occasion, the association also awarded 10 scholarships valued at VND500,000 each to students who are children of these families.
