(ĐN)- According to Chairman Tran Dinh Dung of Xuan Loc district’s Fatherland Front Committee, over the past five years, the front’s Fund for the Poor raised more than VND10 billion to build and hand over 477 charity houses to households with housing difficulties.
Moreover, the front offered free healthcare and monthly assistance to thousands of disadvantaged households, repaired houses, presented bicycles and wheelchairs to needy people, provided capital support and breeding animal to poor members, contributing to bring the district’s rate of poor households to under 0.2 percent.
