Of the total, over 38,300 laid-off workers received unemployment relief, more than 1.5 million people received social insurance benefits, and 5.5 million health insurance cardholders got health care service fees.
So far, more than 811,000 people in the province have been covered by social insurance, equivalent to 48.3 percent of the local workforce, meanwhile, over 772,700 laborers joined unemployment insurance, or 45.6 percent of workers.
