At the meeting, General Can congratulated the Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, authorities, troops and people for their achievements gained in the past and expressed a token of gratitude to them for their support for the military in both wartime and peacetime.

General Can informed the delegation of the military’s activities, emphasizing the military’s care for national contributors.

According to General Can, military units have concentrated on addressing remaining issues related to troops, especially dealing with the difficulties on the recognition of war wounded soldiers and fallen soldiers. They have also organized an array of gratitude activities, including meeting with and presenting gifts to typical national contributors and fallen soldiers’ relatives; providing health checkups, health counseling; and building gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries and national contributors. They joined hands in upgrading structures dedicated to fallen soldiers as well.

While expressing their thanks to the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Politics, national contributors of Dong Nai province promised to continue to bring national traditions into full play and to actively contribute to the revolutionary cause of the nation in the current period.
