(ĐN) - Dong Nai’s localities launched their community works over the past two days to mark the 89th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Mass Mobilization Work.
In Nhon Trach district, state employees and army forces participated in cleaning up the environment, upgrading rural traffic roads, building two charity houses and a bridge, visiting and presenting 250 gifts worth VND500,000 each to Vietnamese heroic mothers, martyrs families and revolutionary contributors totaling more than VND555 million.
In Long Khanh city, 300 soldiers gathered to start their public relations tasks in Bau Tram commune. Particularly, they helped local residents to collect garbage and plant trees at public places, provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 120 needy people, gave 200 gifts to ethnic minority people.
In Bien Hoa city, all wards and communes also launched many community works, offered free meals to poor laborers, visited and presented gifts to poor households, etc.
