(ĐN) - On September 28, Dong Nai Study Promotion Association held a ceremony to award scholarships totaling over VND1.2 billion to 219 disabled students and 38 vocational students.
Deputy Head of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Pham Tan Linh attended the event.
Particularly, disabled students studying at junior high schools received VND4 million each, disabled students at high schools and vocational students each got VND5 million.
Earlier, the association coordinated with its agencies to present more than 120 scholarships worth over VND300 million to disabled students at primary schools.
On this occasion, the association also thanked sponsors for their donations to help disabled students.
