The ceremony was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy Defense Minister, Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee Cao Tien Dung, along with the school’s management board, cadres and lecturers.
Last school year, Nguyen Hue University provided training to more than 5,000 students, including 142 students from Cambodian Royal Army. Over 91 percent of its cadets graduated with flying colors. The school also studied, compiled, approved and transferred a number of topics, documents and textbooks as planned with practical results. Besides, its cadets won a number of valuable prizes at large-scale military contests and Dong Nai provincial-level competitions.
In the new academic year, the university plans to improve education and training quality, and strengthen its capacity for lecturers and management officers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy Defense Minister, appreciated the achievements made by the university over the past time, asking the university to continue to promote its tradition, continue efforts to fulfill its duties assigned by the Party, State and the Ministry of Defense.
