(ĐN) - An Phuoc commune has just completed all 19 advanced criteria of the new-style rural building programme, becoming the first model new style rural commune in Long Thanh district.
The commune mobilized more than VND30 billion to develop local infrastructure, in which over VND11 billion came from individuals and organizations.
The commune’s income per capita in 2018 reached VND61.3 million while the rate of poor households was reduced to 0.28 percent.
Besides, local roads have been concretized, upgraded or repaired; a wide range of campaigns have been also launched to encourage the involvement of local residents in building their model new-style rural area, including “lightening the rural roads” and “green Sunday”, among others.
