(ĐN)- On August 31, Taiwanese Commerce Association (TCA) in Dong Nai visited and presented gifts to Bien Hoa city Blind People Association, Centers for Disabled Children and Elderly People, Dieu Phap and An Lac pagodas.
During the visits, the association handed VND250 million in cash and nearly VND440 million worth of gifts.
According to Chairman Peter Wu of TCA, over the past 10 years, the association spent more than VND13 billion to help needy people on the occasion of Mid-Autumn and Tet festivals. Since the beginning of this year, the association donated nearly VND1.38 billion.
Taiwanese businesses have so far invested in more than 300 projects totaling over US$5.2 billion in the province, ranking second among countries and territories running investment in Dong Nai.
