98 scholarships for poor students

(ĐN)- On September 15, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to award "Chap Canh Uoc Mo" (Giving wings to Your Dreams) scholarships to 98 studious poor students who are Vietnamese heroic mothers' and martyrs' children and grandchildren.

 

(ĐN)- On September 15, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to award “Chap Canh Uoc Mo” (Giving wings to Your Dreams) scholarships to 98 studious poor students who are Vietnamese heroic mothers’ and martyrs’ children and grandchildren.

Among receivers, 63 students got scholarships worth VND5 million each while 35 others received scholarships valued at VND10 million each.

Chap Canh Uoc Mo Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 by Ms Tran Cam Nhung, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Long Thanh Golf, with a total value of VND18 billion. It is now managed by the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Dao Van Phuoc of the Front thanked Mrs Tran Cam Nhung for her donations and hoped that the scholarships would encourage the students to continue their efforts to become good citizens and contribute to the development of the locality.
