(ĐN) - Dong Nai Medical College has recently provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 100 needy people who are former political prisoners.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented gifts worth VND120,000 each to these people.
This is one of activities to mark the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution, on August 19, and the Independence Day, on September 2.
Earlier, a delegation also visited and handed 18 gifts valued at VND700,000 each to Vietnamese heroic mothers, policy families and former political prisoners in Bien Hoa city.
