(ĐN)- In the first half of this year, Dong Nai Study Promotion Association and its agencies mobilized to award more than 22,000 scholarships and over 500 bicycles to studious poor students.
Moreover, the association gave rewards to some 165,000 students and teachers for their efforts in studying and teaching.
In this period, the association also raised over VND18 billion for study promotion fund by mobilizing its members to put money in their clay pigs.
In the remaining months of the year, the association will continue efforts to promote the movements of study promotion, encourage all people and social organizations to get involved in study encouragement activities, said the association’s Chairman Nguyen Trung Phuong.
