The program is undertaken by the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, and Honda Vietnam, looks to raise the ratio of helmet wearing among children to 80% by 2020. It also aims to reduce child traffic victims and increase awareness in the community.
In Dong Nai, over 58,000 safety helmets were handed over to 1st grade students across the province in the school year of 2018-2019.
