(ĐN) – Dong Nai Department of Natural Resource and Environment on June 4 launched Dong Nai Green Week to respond to World Environment Day 2019.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh and representatives from ministries, sectors, and local people attended the event. The Green Week will last until June 9.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh stressed that further efforts should be made to raise everyone’s awareness of environmental protection and turn their understanding into practical deeds.
After the event, the participants planted 200 trees at local parks.
