A 14-year-old boy has died when a minibus suddenly busted into flames on May 24 in Dong Nai Province.
The 16-seat minibus was running from Dong Nai to Da Lat when it suddenly busted into flames at 10.30 am. At that time, the driver, an assistant, and three passengers including 64-year-old Le Thi Phan, 14-year-old Le Minh Tien and 3-year-old Tran Quoc Huy were on the bus.

The fire started out under the bus and quickly spread out. The adults were only able to get Huy out. Tien was unable to escape while Huy suffered severe burns and has been hospitalised. Phan also suffered from light injuries.
The firefighters sent fire trucks to the scene immediately. However, since there were many flammable objects inside the bus, the fire spread quickly and destroyed the whole bus.
According to Phan, she had just returned from Thong Nhat General Hospital in Dong Nai Province when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
