(ĐN) - A ceremony was held on May 20 to review community activities in Dong Nai from 2016 until now.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son, Head of Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Huynh Van Hong, and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep attended the ceremony.
Addressing at the event, Deputy Secretary Ho Thanh Son highly appreciated efforts made by the provincial Military Headquarters and related agencies in community work.
Since 2016 until now, the Headquarters mobilized more than 250,000 soldiers to implement community activities across the province. Particularly, it built and upgraded 253 km of rural traffic roads and provided free healthcare to 3,400 needy people, etc.
On this occasion, the Headquarters also awarded certificates of merit to 41 individuals and 39 collectives for their outstanding achievements over the past years.
